Anti-fouling paint, biocide-free
Instructions: Stir well before use. Existing paintwork in poor condition, or flaky and uneven, and thick residual layers of old paint must be sanded down before applying the anti-fouling paint If required, first apply a barrier or adhesive coat using sealer. Existing paintwork in good condition should be lightly sanded before applying the anti-fouling paint. If the type of paint used in the existing paintwork is not known, it must be removed. Alternatively, apply a layer of sealer before applying the anti-fouling paint. Bare plastic must be coated with anti-pest epoxy primer. When painting onto epoxy primer, the surface of the primer should be slightly sticky for best adhesion. Epoxy filler must be used on uneven and damaged areas.
Application conditions: The surface must be completely clean and dry. Apply in temperatures over 5 °C. Do not apply in strong sunlight. Ensure good ventilation in enclosed areas during application and drying. The paint can be diluted with thinner if required. The amount of thinner required depends on application conditions such as temperature, ventilation and the surface.
Application: Apply 3 coat of the product 40 micrometres thick to achieve good protection. Use mohair rollers/brushes.
